God, I give you all of me:
all I am, all I was, all I ever will be;
all my gains, all my losses;
all my plans, all my regrets;
all my good traits, all my bad;
all of my thoughts, feelings and actions.
In giving it all to you, I am left with nothing. I have to ask myself, “Did I ever have anything of value in the first place?”
Nevertheless, I leave it to you to do what you do best —
make something beautiful out of nothing.
