I know people who are Christian Anesthesiologists.

They always have a quick, quaint Bible verse for anyone who suffers, to make the pain instantly disappear.

“Weep with those who weep,” is not a verse I often hear from these types, however.

If Jesus were hanging on a cross today, crying, “My God, why hast thou forsaken me?”, a Christian Anesthesiologist would, no doubt, tell the man that he needed to get right with God, or that he needed to have more faith.
