A friend recently called to apologize for hanging up on me months ago.

I told him not to worry about it, that I’ve been busy and, frankly, I didn’t even remember the incident.

He said, “What? You mean I’ve been racked with guilt for months, and you don’t even remember?”

Then he hung up on me!
